Abyss "S" features an Orange Peel (stippled) Spot focused Reflector for use in underwater exploration, inspection, or sport-fishing applications. The "S" model has a Color temperature of 4300k useful for a wide variety of observation tasking.

Abyss "D" features a Highly Diffused reflector for use in photographic/video applications underwater. The "D" model has a Color temperature of 5500k (bluer in color) for photographic purposes.
